Our Story
Chabana, Fukuoka, Kyushu Island, Japan
Our Dubai-based founder is a former scholar of the Japanese Monbusho (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology). She holds a Master’s degree in Law from Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan.
With over five years of immersive experience living in and regularly travelling to Japan, she is dedicated to sharing her deep appreciation for the exquisite beauty and hidden wonders of the tea ceremony.
We established Chabana to bring the lifestyle benefits of Japanese tea and its cultural treasures to our clients in the Middle East.
The name of our company, Chabana, refers to the understated flower arrangements used in the tea ceremony. Unlike elaborate floral displays, chabana emphasises natural beauty and spontaneity.
